#EveryLittleActionCounts Week 25: Become Independent!

This week is a call to become independent! We believe that being independent is crucial for personal and professional development, self-awareness, self-reliance, and critical decision-making aligned with personal and professional values and principles. It also reinforces resilience and the building of sustainable and healthy relationships.

“Independence is loyalty to one’s best self and principles”.

– Mark Twain

We can become more independent by considering the following key aspects:

Build emotional strength: Learn to understand and manage emotions and build resilience, enabling self-validation, self-reliance on your own emotional support while supporting healthy relationships at personal and professional level.

Build personal stability: Engage in the independent construction of your own environment within which you find comfort and strength without the need to rely on others.

Develop problem-solving competencies: Build the ability to make decisions and solve challenges independently without seeking external help.

Set clear goals, aims and vision: Define personal and professional goals, aims and visions that align with your own values and principles and take responsibility for achieving them independently.
